Welcome to the new digital home of The Fund for New Jersey.

For over five decades, we have been a steadfast partner in the work of making our state more just, equitable, and prosperous. Today, as we launch this new website, we aren’t just updating our online presence – we are reaffirming our commitment to the residents of New Jersey during a period of profound transformation and consequence. 

Our state is at a pivotal crossroads. We are currently navigating a landscape defined by significant political transitions, evolving economic realities, and a pressing need to address systemic inequities that have persisted for far too long. The decisions we make today—and the speed at which we move to address our most urgent challenges—will define the quality of life for New Jerseyans for generations to come. 

This complexity is precisely why we published our Crossroads 2025 Report. It serves as a prime example of why we must think broadly across intersectional issues—from climate resilience and affordable housing to criminal justice and fiscal responsibility. These are not isolated silos; they are deeply interconnected threads of the same fabric. Solving the housing crisis, for instance, is impossible without simultaneously addressing transportation access and economic equity. Our work must reflect that reality. 

Navigating this moment successfully requires more than just good intentions; it demands steadfast partnership and collaboration. No single organization or sector can meet these challenges in isolation. We must break down long-standing silos and build meaningful bridges between the public, private, and philanthropic sectors. To those who hold positions of power and influence: this moment asks for courageous action that meets the tenor of our stated values. True progress requires the bravery to challenge the status-quo and the foresight to invest in long-term, systemic solutions over short-term wins. 

This new website is designed to help serve as a hub for that work—a resource for the ideas, research, and partnerships that will propel New Jersey forward.
