Join residents, policymakers, activists for a timely conversation exploring race, gender, class and justice and the work of creating change in our communities.

Presented by The Fund for New Jersey in partnership with NJPAC, this conversation is not to be missed!

Activist, academic and revolutionary Angela Davis has spent a lifetime challenging oppression and examining intersections of race, gender and class. A professor emerita of the history of consciousness and feminist studies at UC Santa Cruz, Dr. Davis today focuses on solidarity with those in prison and advancing a 21st-century abolitionist movement. Dr. Davis will be joined in conversation by Dr. Salamishah Tillet, Pulitzer Prize-winning critic-at-large at The New York Times and Professor of African American Studies and Creative Writing at Rutgers University–Newark.

Co-produced with Crossroads NJ, an initiative of The Fund for New Jersey. Sponsored by The Fund for New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Victoria Foundation and Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation
