For decades, New Jersey at large has refused to make the investments necessary for all communities to thrive. This is the time for us to confront New Jersey’s problems head-on and seek consensus on our shared challenges.
Crossroads Overview
Crossroads NJ is a project of The Fund for New Jersey established to foster informed dialogue around the most pressing policy issues confronting our state and to advance a shared vision for the New Jersey we all deserve. Through research, convenings, and collaboration with policy experts, advocates, and community leaders, Crossroads NJ identifies evidence-based solutions that promote equity, opportunity, and sustainability across all sectors of public life.

The 2025 Crossroads NJ Report, produced by The Fund for New Jersey, offers a critical, data-driven analysis of the most pressing issues impacting the Garden State today—from the environment and affordable housing to transportation, education, and economic equity. This policy report evaluated progress made since the original 2017 Crossroads NJ Report and outlined actionable recommendations to guide the next state administration.
