Hellen Zamora-Bustos

Hellen brings a strong commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion and significant experience in community development and organizing. Most recently, Hellen worked as a Community Development Manager with Norwescap, implementing the Neighborhood Preservation Program and the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program – both programs designed to foster the revitalization of New Jersey's distressed neighborhoods. Previously Hellen worked as a community organizer at Wind of the Spirit, focused on immigrant rights, racial justice, and expanding voting rights. She graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in public relations. She is a native Spanish speaker and lives in Northern New Jersey with her spouse and three children.
