New Jersey faces many serious challenges in the years ahead. Action is needed if this is to be a state where people enjoy a strong economy and quality schools, where our cities are vital, thriving places, where the political system encourages citizen participation and where the land and water are protected.
In 2001, The Fund for New Jersey commissioned the Agenda New Jersey series of issue papers to address these challenges by promoting debate and spelling out recommendations for public policy. And in 2005, The Fund convened over 70 state leaders in a symposium to collectively address these policy choices.
